Sondika is a township in the beautiful natural setting of the Txorierri valley, offering a wide range of leisure activities.

We can, for example, take an agreeable stroll around the town itself and up to Mount Artxanda, with its excellent views over the Biscay capital and its surroundings. Or we could visit the pretty park of Larrabarrena and its ample, well-equipped green areas (with a children's play area, picnic tables, etc.)

We must not forget the calendar of fiestas and festivals, and especially the agricultural and craft fair Sondika organises in the month of November, which includes stalls selling locally-grown produce and craft work from neighbourhood artisans, an exhibition of rural activities and workshops – in a festive spirit to be enjoyed by all.

Finally, for wine lovers, Sondika celebrates “Enologia Eguna” (Wine Day) every October, which is an interesting gathering of the best DO wines on the market.
