Setting out from the town hall square in Sopela, we cross the river Gobela, heading for the Argalutza neighbourhood and continuing through the Sopelabaso wood. From the top we can enjoy the pretty views across Sopela and Berango, and once we reach the heights of Munarrikolanda we will also be able to visit the prehistoric burial mounds. A 2 km detour takes us to the Martiartu tower of Erandio, and back on the trail we continue via Unbe, Lauroeta and Artebakarra, crossing the Biscay Technological Park, to Derio.
